Half-term shows at the Playhouse from 19 October, Hocus Pocus on 26 October, the Hook Road fireworks on 7 November and 44 dated listings to mid-November.
October in Epsom starts with a three-day art fair at Epsom Downs Racecourse, Art Surrey, from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October, and ends with a busy half term at Epsom Playhouse, where Epsom Light Opera Company’s Beauty and the Beast runs from 27 to 31 October. Then comes the borough’s biggest night of the autumn: Epsom Fireworks at Hook Road Arena on Saturday 7 November.
Everything below was read on 29 September 2026 and re-checked on 3 and 4 October from the organisers’ own listings: the Playhouse’s show pages, Bourne Hall’s events page, the borough council’s What’s On records, and the websites of the people running each event. Every entry links back to its source, so check it before you set off. Half term in Epsom and Ewell’s schools runs for two weeks, 19 to 30 October; our October half term page covers it in more detail, and things to do in Epsom covers the places that are open whatever the date.
