Remembrance Sunday is 8 November 2026. Epsom and Ewell's parade runs from the Army Reserve Centre to St Mary's, Ewell; Armistice Day starts at 10.40am.
Remembrance Sunday is 8 November 2026, and Armistice Day, 11 November, falls on a Wednesday. Epsom and Ewell Borough Council has not yet published this year’s times. In both 2024 and 2025 the borough’s main parade went from the Army Reserve Centre in Welbeck Close to St Mary’s Church, Ewell, and the Armistice Day service was held at the Clock Tower in Epsom Market Place from 10.40am.
The council publishes its Remembrance page late. The 2024 version was first archived on 5 November 2024, four days before that year’s parade. We will add the 2026 times as soon as they appear.

What happened in 2025
From the council’s Remembrance in the borough page:
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| Wednesday 5 November, 10.30am | The Mayor, the council’s chief executive and local schoolchildren opened the Garden of Remembrance in Bourne Hall Park, open to the public until the end of November |
| Sunday 9 November, 9.30am | The Mayor laid two wreaths at the war memorials in Ashley Road, Epsom |
| Sunday 9 November, after 9.30am | Procession from the Army Reserve Centre, Welbeck Close, to St Mary’s Church, Ewell, followed by an Act of Remembrance, wreath laying and a church service |
| Tuesday 11 November, 10.40am | Armistice Day service at the Clock Tower, Epsom Market Place, with the Royal British Legion, armed forces, veterans and schools, ending with the two-minute silence at 11am |
The Royal British Legion also donated large poppies for Epsom High Street, Ewell High Street and Stoneleigh Broadway.
The council’s 2025 page did not give a start time for the procession. In 2024 it did: the clergy, the Mayor, councillors and the Royal British Legion led the procession off at 10.33am, and the Last Post, two minutes’ silence and wreath laying followed at 11am at the monument in St Mary’s churchyard.
In 2024 the Mayor and the Legion’s chair also spent the Saturday before thanking poppy sellers and laying wreaths around the borough, at Ashley Road, the Horton Cemetery Memorial, All Saints Church in West Ewell and Bourne Hall.
